How to care for preserved roses

Do preserved roses need water?

Do not water, mist or immerse a preserved rose. Keep floral sprays and cleaning products away from the flower. A glass dome or presentation box is part of the display, not a vase to fill.

Keep the product indoors, away from direct sunlight, heaters and excessive humidity. A bright shop window may become hot even when the rest of the room feels comfortable.

How to handle and display rose gifts

Lift the arrangement by its stable base or box rather than the flower head. Avoid squeezing, bending or brushing the petals. Place display stock on a secure, dry shelf where customers can see the presentation without repeatedly touching the flowers.

• Check the dimensions before choosing a shelf or counter position.
• Keep packaging and loose protective parts together for the sale.
• Follow the instructions for any LED lighting or removable cover separately.

Storage and routine checks in the shop

Keep reserve stock protected in its packaging in a dry indoor location. Avoid places exposed to moisture, heat or direct sun. Inspect incoming cartons and check the flower, holder and presentation before placing a product on display.

Remove dust from the outer presentation carefully, keeping moisture and cleaning sprays away from the rose. If petals are marked or damaged, ask for product-specific guidance rather than attempting to wash or reshape them.

What to tell the customer about longevity

There is no single lifespan that can be promised for every preserved rose. Appearance depends on the flower, handling and display conditions. Avoid interpreting “eternal rose” or “forever rose” as a lifetime guarantee.
